Can I eat or drink in the library?

Yes, with the following in mind:

  • Drinks should have secure lids.
  • Food should be limited to snacks. Avoid greasy, sticky, or other foods that could damage library resources. No delivered food or take-out meals are allowed in the library.
  • Dispose of waste by putting recyclables in recycle containers, other waste in trash cans, and liquids down the bathroom drains.
  • Food and drinks are not permitted in Special Collections when special collections or archival materials are out.
