How do I access the New York Times?

You can access the New York Times two ways: 

 

Academic Databases

You can read New York Times articles using our database access, but it might not have the images or web elements.

Online NYT Website Access

All students and staff can use their ctclink number to access the local public library's resources. One of the resources through the library is the New York Times. 

Students Have Free Access

  • Your library card number is SCC followed by your ctclink number.
    • For example, if your ctclink number were 123456789,
    • your library card number would be: SCC123456789
  • Your library card PIN is the last four numbers of your ID number

Faculty and Staff Have Free Access to the Public Library

  • Faculty and staff will log in using “E” plus “SCC” and then their ID number.
  • An example login here is: ESCC101047412.
