Where are the study areas in the library?

Quiet study:
The best place for quiet study is at the private study carrels behind the stacks. Other study carrels may be more open to the rest of the library action, but with a good pair of headphones, you’ll never be able to tell the difference.
Some talking:
Tables and smart chairs, as well as the computer lab all allow for moderate noise. In these spaces, please be courteous of your fellow students and keep your noise level as quiet as possible. Also if you are disrupted by noise while studying, we suggest either bringing or checking out a pair of headphones from the library.
Louder conversations:
If the level noise you are making is (or you think it will be) disruptive to others, consider reserving our group study room.
