May I eat in the library?

Answer

Food and drink may be consumed in the study areas of the library, provided that there is no damage to library materials, furniture, or equipment. Patrons who consume food or beverages in the library are expected to be responsible and clean up after themselves. Food consumption should not disrupt the activities of other library users or library staff. Patrons with messy, smelly, or greasy foods will be asked to take them out of the library.

Food and drinks are not permitted in public computer workstations and the book stacks.

Use of tobacco products are not permitted within the Kirk Library.
