AskWA: The Statewide Virtual Reference Cooperative

In January 2009, the statewide virtual reference cooperative in Washington State officially became "AskWA," following naming conventions prevalent among other state- and area-wide virtual reference cooperatives.
AskWA is a cooperative of more than 40 libraries throughout Washington State, both public and academic, providing online reference services through chat and email, technologies. This statewide network is tied in to a global network through Springshare, providing access to 24/7 online reference services for every participating library.
