Q. Who can access databases, e-journals, e-books, etc. and from where?

Answer

Olympic College students, staff, and faculty can access databases, e-journals, e-books, and other e-Resources, from anywhere. They may be asked to log in to certain resources with their Olympic College credentials if off campus.

Community Patrons of the OC Libraries are only able to access databases, e-journals, and e-books while at an OC Library. While we recognize that this is not always the most convenient, it is necessary in order for us to stay in compliance with our database licenses. This does mean that currently, Community Patrons are unable to access our electronic resources.

If you have any questions about accessing electronic resources at OC or run into any problems, please reach out to our librarians and they will do their best to help you!
