Q. I returned my item(s) to the Haselwood Library Book drop. What happens now?


Thank you for returning your items.  We check the book drop every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning.  Once we take an item from the book drop, we quarantine that item for at least 3 days before it is processed and removed from your account.  It might take a few days, but we will do our best to keep your account up to date. 

If your item is overdue, you will receive notifications from the library.  We understand this can be annoying or worrying but these notifications are automatic and cannot be stopped until the item is checked in; however, we do not charge late fees or fines if items are returned to us in good condition.  We appreciate your patience!

Remember, you can access your account on the upper right corner of the OneSearch Homepage to check the status of your loans and find other information about your library account.
