Is the Shelton library open?
The Johnson Library at the Shelton Campus has been closed recently due to water damage caused by a leaking roof. College leadership has made the difficult decision to close the library during Winter Quarter 2024 to facilitate repairs.
The college recognizes the impact of this closure, and we apologize for the inconvenience. The closure is necessary to complete repairs and mitigate any further damage to the facility, books, and other resources in the Johnson Library.
We will continue to support students with the availability of robust online library services which include scholarly articles, access to eBooks, and 24/7 Ask a Librarian chat.
You can also request that print books from OC and beyond be delivered to and checked out in Shelton by arrangement. Please contact Library staff member: Kristie Nolasco.
We anticipate the library will re-open by Spring Quarter 2024.
