How Do I Download an eBook?

Its very easy to read an eBook online.  But how can I download it for offline reading?

Answer

eBooks can be read online through your browser, simply select PDF or EPUB on the left-hand side of your book (not all books have both options).  Full-text keyword searching is available in all formats.

To download for offline viewing, click on "Full Download".

  1. You will be prompted to sign in to a "My EBSCOhost" account (you can create one).
  2. Check the box for "Adobe Digital Editions". You will need this software installed and an AdobeID to open the eBook.
  1. Open up "Adobe Digital Editions" and add your book (File --> "Add to Library").

For more help, refer to the download instructions provided by EBSCO.  While there, you can find out more on downloading to specific devices.
